Dr. Tamer Saka completed his bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Business Administration of Istanbul University. He began his career at Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young as Manager and Senior Manager responsible for Risk Management Consulting services, and in 2004 he joined Sabancı Holding as Risk Management Director.

Between 2010 and 2011, he served in London at Willis as Managing Director responsible for business development activities across approximately 20 countries, including Türkiye.

As of December 2011, Dr. Tamer Saka assumed the role of Coordinator for Strategy and Business Development at Kibar Holding, and from May 2012 onward he took on responsibilities as Group President of Automotive and Corporate Functions and as a Member of the Board of Directors of Kibar Holding. From 2014, he continued his career at Kibar Holding as CEO, and in 2018 he was appointed Cement Group President at Sabancı Holding.

Dr. Saka became a Member of the Board of Directors of BMS Group in 2021. In 2024, he transferred his shares in BMS Turkey to BMS Group, and in January 2025 he began serving as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer at Goldfinch Global Capital, which he founded.

Dr. Tamer Saka also continues to serve as Chairman of the Board of the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey (TKYD), Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yünsa, and Member of the Board of Directors of Smart Holding.
